Step by step on how we save the most at County Market:

Before Shopping

Check our coupon organizer for printed digital coupons

Check Coupons.com and Living Rich with Coupons for matching manufacturers coupons

Load digital coupons for Savings Star and Checkout 51 in addition to our printed coupons.

Then hit the store or send the hubby.

After Shopping

Scan your receipt into:

Receipt Hog

Checkout 51

This can take you 30 minutes or so per week, depending on how much you are purchasing and how well you learn the systems.  To save my time, I have my girls cut the Penny Pinchers, pull the manufacturer’s coupon and sometimes even research the digital coupons and Ibotta options available.  We save and earn an average of  $200/month taking these steps every two weeks.  I would say at a return of $100/hour savings/earnings it is definitely worth it.

Note:  I say saved/earned because I don’t count Savings Star, Ibotta and Check Out 51 as “savings” since the cash comes out of your pocket in store and doesn’t return to you until after you have scanned the receipt and reached a minimum cash out.   To me, it is money earned to be added to the budget later.  It keeps the numbers real and my grocery/supply budget on track.
